Hello and welcome back to school!
How are you after your Christmas holiday? What exciting things did you do during your time off?
Please remember to come to the English room and talk to me and tell me all about it!
Today, I want to share with you what I did during my Christmas holiday. This year was very special as it was our first Christmas with our baby girl Mia.
On Christmas Eve, Mia dressed up as Mrs Claus. We then went to our friends house to eat a Christmas dinner and sing some Christmas songs. We also played the game Monopoly and gave out Christmas presents. Below are some pictures of us on Christmas Eve
.
Myself, Darren and Mia spent Christmas day alone together. It was a special day. First, we woke up and opened Mia's Christmas presents. Her favourite present was her bouncing chair, here are some pictures of her enjoying her present:
After this we went on a walk down the promenade. The weather was beautiful.
We walked to a restaurant called Frittes in Wan Chai. At the restaurant we enjoyed eating another Christmas dinner and spending time talking as a family.
After we finished our food, we walked back home to FaceTime our families back in England. We miss our families very much and cannot wait to see them this summer. Mia also opened her presents from our families whilst we were on Facetime.
On Boxing Day we met up with my brother, sister in law and nephew. We went to the playground in Sai Yin Pun and then went back to our home to play and open some presents. My nephew's name is Theo, he is 15 months old.
During the holidays Mia also met up with her baby friends to play and interact with each other. Mia is now starting to recognise other babies and makes noises when she sees them.
We had a very relaxing holiday. We ate a lot of food and went on lots of walks. However, most of the time we stayed at home to play together, sing songs and read stories. Below are some more pictures of us during the holidays :)
Lastly, Mia loves to read books. Her favourite books are the Julia Donaldson collection. We read to her every day, but by the end of the story she always falls to sleep, it is very funny.
I hope you enjoyed reading about our Christmas holiday and looking at the pictures. I am excited to hear and learn about what you did.
Please remember to come and see me in the English room. See you soon, Miss Charlotte xxx
